Thanks for uploading your pic n1, Like you said wasn't really happening as predicted. Here's one of my results, I had to photoshop the brightness abit as they turned out a shade dark. I think I set the shutter speed to fast 1/500, should have been around 1/200  Well know for next time.

Hey Steve, Nice shots from the Saltrock Open! The guy with the white rashy is Jake Bowrey from Westward Ho!, I met his sister in the Maldives, he works at Surfed Out and sorted out my Flyer for me! Looks like he was in the same heat as Sam Lamiroy though! I had the in-laws down for the weekend so didn't get to surf!  . And I'm at a wedding in Notts next weekend! At least evenings surfs are a possibility now! I'll let you know if I go.

Cheers, was a good day, and had it's moments. I was going to stay until the final but it droped off and was getting cold standing around on the rocks. Shame about this weekend for you looking pretty good according to MSW. Work and family always get in the way of surfing.

 Great wave this morning, about 2'-3' with offish wind. Again time just went so no photos only this one. Same conditions again for sunday but a bit smaller. Get out the malibu

Hey steve,
Nice One, just seen this as I've been in Ireland for the last couple of weeks!
The surf was never epic but nice to surf a few new spots, went in around the cork area and went over to brandon bay - dingle! Wife took a few pics so I'll stick um up one day!
Looking rubbish this weekend - summers on the way!
See you when Widdy is next on!

Yeah took my Flyer and my minimal as we drove over! But I usually take my own boards as you can't rely on hire boards and it's nice to surf your own boards at new spots!

That spot you mentioned on Sunday, I know where you mean. It’s a bit of a secret spot did you know. I have surfed if only once years ago. If you mentioned the red box I would have clicked straight away.

Ah, well next time I see you I'll get a bit more info especially as I recon it would have been better than Widdy on sun. I saw lots of people turn around in the car park to obviously go somewhere better!
I'm down Newquay way this weekend, the swell height is good and hopefully the period will be good too!

Well it looked pretty good today, however i'm not sure if it was just me but they were really hard to catch as they were quite fat and I seemed to be in the wrong place all the time! O well there's always tomorrow, heading to N. Devon its looking pretty good! Have a good surf tomorrow. Happy Christmas! See you in the New Year no doubt.

What a great start to November. Had some nice sets this weekend at Widemouth. Lets hope it continues for the rest of the month. Although it has droped off now. Took some pics of todays action and uploaded them.

Great day at widemouth on Sunday, had some good solid sets coming in. Was push over to the south side of the beach Black Rock end, due to the contest that was going on. Hi,
Widemouth this morning was heavy. nice rights & lefts, with a gentle off shore breeze. Only a 3 guys were in when I arrived and it took them about 10 mins to paddle out. So I decided to take look at Summerleeze which was abit better on the inside. No pics though to misty.
Mark, how was friday? looked good on the web cams. Did you get to Widemouth?

Yeah friday was good, there was a bit of a wait between the sets but when they came in they were pretty clean and some overhead.
Made some big drops and got some long rides, my last wave took me across the whole of the bay, which I was pretty stoked with the longest ride I've had for a while!
Took a few pics after the session I'll upload them once I sort them out!
I'm pretty tired today after surfing Widdy on fri, Puts and Croyde on sat and Polzeath yesterday! A good weekend!

We were at Widdy sun morning so looks like we just missed you, we were planning on going to N. Devon but had a change of plan so it was too late to let you know!
Myself and a buddy have booked friday afternoon off so heading to Widdy/Bude if you fancy it! Its looking like it will be pumping at last!

No worries, I got to widdy about 12ish. I think you made the right choice, looking at the cam's N Devon was looking a bit flat.
As for friday don't no if I can make it, it's a busy day for me. But I should be around at the weekend.
